Anthony Field

Anthony has over twenty-five years’ experience advising clients across the private and public sectors on residential, rural and commercial property matters. His expertise in valuation, property sales, acquisition, occupation and ownership; enable him to provide high level and complex strategic advice to financial institutions, corporate bodies, partnerships, private investors and owner occupiers. 

With particular strength in complex valuation matters, Anthony regularly provides Expert Witness evidence and delivers comprehensive advice in relation to property disputes, transactions and investment decisions. 

Anthony has extensive experience within the renewable energy sector, advising landowners, developers and operators in relation to a wide range of technologies including solar, battery storage, hydrogen and gas generation projects. Working closely with clients to identify opportunities, manage risk and achieve long term value from their property interests. 

Anthony also advises on property management, acquisitions and disposals across a diverse range of assets. He is particularly experienced in negotiating option and promotion agreements for residential development, renewable energy and telecommunications projects, helping clients secure favourable outcomes and maximise value. 

He has extensive experience in experience in habitat creation, reinstatement and improvement having first become involved in peatland restoration over 25 years ago, since which time he has been involved in a broad array of upland and lowland projects, providing consultancy advice to private and charitable landowners.

Outside of work, Anthony can often be found coaching minis rugby at his local rugby club, spending time with his family on the South Downs or working on the family smallholding. He is also a longstanding supporter of the Heathfield and District Agricultural Society, having served on the Show Council for more than twenty years and continuing to play an active role in supporting the local rural community.
