Richard Banes-Walker

Richard is a Senior Associate Director in our Farnham office brining nearly three decades of experience in residential property. Having started his career in 1997 and joining Strutt & Parker in 2000, Richard specialises in valuation, negotiation and sales progression, working with clients across Farnham and the surrounding towns and villages.

He was drawn to property because of the people-focused nature of the industry and the satisfaction that comes with helping clients move on to their next chapter. Whether handing keys to an excited buyer or supporting a seller through their next move, Richard enjoys making things happen and guiding clients through what can often be a significant life decision.

Richard advises on a broad range of residential properties and offers probate valuations and developer advice. He works with a wide variety of buyers, including many relocating from London and surrounding towns, helping showcase not only the homes themselves but also the lifestyle each location offers.

Living in Farnham, Richard values the area’s access to exceptional countryside, with opportunities for mountain biking, running, walking and hiking right on the doorstep, alongside a strong selection of state and private schools. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking and walking his dog.
