Andrew Aitchison

Andrew is a highly knowledgeable, rural land and business advisor with 30+ years’ experience leading a team of rural professionals shaping and delivering bespoke management and advisory solutions to private and institutional clients across all aspects of rural property throughout Scotland.

Andrew joined Strutt & Parker in 1998. He established our Perth office in 2013 and now heads up our rural teams across 4 offices in Scotland and sits on our UK Rural Executive Board.

Responding to a rapidly evolving landscape shaped by land reform, global macro-economic pressures, emerging natural capital markets and changing ownership patterns, Andrew leads a multi-disciplinary team delivering bespoke management and advisory solutions including land, estate and property management, farming, forestry, natural capital, rural building surveying, valuation, renewables and infrastructure and client finance for a wide range of private and institutional clients.

Married with two grown-up children and living in Fife, Andrew enjoys all things outdoors with a passion for mountaineering as well as sailing at home and abroad. He is currently working his way through the Munros in Scotland and enjoys the mental and physical challenge of tackling multiple peaks on each outing. He is active on various community volunteering groups.
