Alice Johnson

Associate Director | Farm Business Consultant

Alice is an Associate Director in our Northallerton Rural team.

  • Farm Business Consultancy

She helps farmers, landowners and rural businesses across Yorkshire and the North East make the most of the opportunities available to them, whether that’s through environmental schemes, grant funding, business planning or natural capital projects.

Alice grew up on a mixed dairy and arable farm in County Durham and have always had a strong connection to farming and the rural sector. After graduating from Harper Adams University with a degree in Agricultural-Food Marketing and Business Studies, she joined Strutt & Parker and have spent my career working with farmers and landowners across the North of England.

Alice is a BASIS Environmental Adviser and have developed particular expertise in environmental schemes, grants, natural capital and farm business resilience. She enjoys helping clients navigate an increasingly complex policy landscape and turning opportunities into practical actions that benefit both the business and the environment.

Alongside client work, Alice is involved in research projects, farmer events and industry engagement, helping keep clients informed of the latest developments affecting agriculture.

Outside of work, she is actively involved in her family farming business and spends time with her working cocker spaniel Fig, horses and playing netball.
