Dan is a Chartered Accountant based in our Chelmsford office and is Head of the Rural Client Finance team.

Leading a team of 20 finance professionals, he oversees the Bookkeeping and Accountancy work for clients of the Rural Business Line across the UK. The team deal with a diverse portfolio of Farms & Estates and are familiar with navigating the financial challenges that our clients face.
Dan started his career at Strutt & Parker as a bookkeeper and has since progressed through the Client Finance team to his current position as Head of Rural Client Finance which he has held since December 2024.
During his time with Strutt & Parker, Dan has held various roles & has gained a deep understanding of the accounting requirements for our Rural Clients across the UK, from year-end accounts to reporting packs as well as having a detailed understanding of the intricacies around VAT and partial exemption for a Rural Business.
Dan has a keen eye for detail which is crucial when reviewing accounts and financial reports for the team and is keen to resolve client issues and find solutions to their financial problems.
Dan specialises in client onboarding and aims to create a seamless transfer of financial data onto our systems.
With the introduction of MTD for income tax, Dan has worked to ensure the team have a compliant software solution for our clients, to ensure that quarterly submissions of bookkeeping records can be carried out in house without adding burden to our clients.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys sport supporting Southend United, playing padel and snowboarding.
