Ellie Ormrod

Associate Director | Shrewsbury Rural Valuations

Ellie is a qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor specialising the valuation of rural and residential properties.

Her work covers Shropshire, Cheshire, Herefordshire, North Wales, and Mid Wales as the lead valuer for Strutt and Parker in the region. Ellie has expertise in the valuation of a wide range of properties from single assets to estates and portfolios having undertaken valuations for loan security, financial reporting, capital taxation and internal planning purposes.

Prior to joining Strutt & Parker, Ellie led the Shrewsbury rural valuation team at Carter Jonas from June 2021. Her clients included high street banks, companies, trusts and private individuals seeking valuations of rural properties for a variety of purposes. This role enabled Ellie to hone her valuation expertise and become a specialist in the valuation of a variety of assets including private estates, poultry units, dairy farms, diversified agricultural holdings, nature reserves and residential portfolios.

Ellie grew up on a dairy farm in North Wales which has diversified with barn conversions for private rental, an equestrian business and contract farmed arable land. She is a keen amateur tennis player who had the opportunity in 2026 to compete in the BNP Paribas Staff Tennis tournament reaching the final in Rome and playing against 30 teams from around the world.
