Richard Brooks

Richard Brooks is a Senior Director based in Strutt & Parker’s Stamford office, bringing over four decades of experience in the property sector. Living in Leicestershire, he is well positioned at the heart of the country, enabling him to work closely with a geographically diverse client base.

Richard began his career in property in 1980, drawing on his farming background to develop a deep understanding of rural assets and land management. He joined Strutt & Parker in 2007 and has since build a reputation for providing strategic, long-term advice to landowning clients. 

Specialising in farms and country estates, Richard’s expertise includes valuation, sales and acquisitions, tax planning, and expert witness work. He works predominantly with private clients and farming families, offering considered guidance on both immediate transactions and generational planning. 

Outside of work, Richard manages his family farm, maintain a strong personal connection to the rural sector he advises on.
