Robert McCulloch

Robert brings an unrivalled depth of knowledge across Scottish estates, salmon fisheries, and farms to his role as head of both the residential agency and the estate and farm agency teams. His expertise spans valuation and brokerage for the sale and purchase of estates, salmon rivers and commercial farms, as well as succession planning and strategic advice that reflects the complexity and variety of the Scottish estate market.

Based in our Edinburgh office, Robert believes it a privilege to visit clients across Scotland and its islands. These include leaders and entrepreneurs, long-standing landowning families, institutional investors, natural capital funds, ecological restoration companies and charitable organisations. His detailed understanding and love of matching people to property stretches back to 2002, when he joined Strutt & Parker.

Outside of work, Robert spends his time in his hometown of Roslin, Midlothian, with his wife and three children. When the opportunity arises, he can be found fly fishing, game shooting or working his two cocker spaniels. He also sings in a local community choir, which he describes as the ideal counterpoint to a demanding career and a full family life.
